The

SSSM Scholarship Scheme

Following its successful launch in 2023,  the SSSM Scholarship Scheme will this year again be offering a number of scholarships, providing substantial discount on the basic fee  to enable music students aged 18 years and above, who are in full-time education at the time of application, to participate in a course or courses of their choice at our summer school of music.  


All those wishing to take advantage of the scheme and who fulfil the following criteria should apply via the on-line Scholarship Application Form to be found on each Course description page   


Acceptance on a course will depend upon


1. Receipt of a completed Application Form with verifiable educational status and the name of a suitable referee.

2. The availability of a place on the chosen course.

3. The student being of a sufficient standard to fulfil the requirements of the place on the course.

4. Payment, when requested, of a non-refundable registration fee of £100.00

FEES  inclusive of the £100.00 non-returnable registration fee

All fees quoted include VAT, at the prevailing rate, at the time of enrolment


Resident students - fees include tuition,  all meals, dormitory accommodation and admission to all concerts, workshops and lectures for seven nights, Sunday to Saturday inclusive   £552.00


Non Resident students taking meals in the School -  fees include tuition,  morning coffee, lunch and dinner and admission to all concerts, workshops and lectures, Sunday to Saturday inclusive     £483.00


Non Resident students not taking meals in the School -  fees include tuition (participants only) and admission to all concerts, workshops and lectures, Sunday to Saturday inclusive    £357.00
